Text from Pages 1 - 104 of the 1970 volume:

SEANCE BEING HELD INSIDE EVERYONE IS INVITED MAYBE SOMEONE FROM YOUR PAST WILL APPEAR. COULD YOUR FUTURE BE REVEALED IN THE CRYSTAL BALL? 1970 Qut acu Ron Allred, Beth Magness, Mrs. Fox, Alfreda Combs, Chipper Magness, Dixie Wilhite EDITOR Dixie Wilhite foreword The future ishazy and uncertain. It looms as a mist in our path that cannot be penetrated by the eyes of the ordinary person. But with our never«-failing crystal ball, we looked into the future and saw all of you wondering what happened back in 1 97 0 at W.H. S. So, we put all our W.H. S. memories, some good and some not so good, into this book for you, so that when the future comes, you won't need to wonder, you can look. We also saw a future of happiness for every W.H.S. graduate. The Annual Staff 1970 £ M RON ALLRED Dedication For all the little extras she has done for us, for her sincere trust and faith in teen- agers, for her guidance in get- ting us through Weleetka High School without any trouble, and for her never-ending smile, we, the Outlaw staff of 1970, dedicate this yearbook to----- Mrs. Velma Ellard. BRIGGS LEWIS KENNEDY 7fie cSan 7fiat fJar ns (Jar (Ja axu My congratulations to the editor and staff of the 1970 Outlaw for a splendid job! It must take a great amount of visionto start from scratch and come up with a finished dream like this Outlaw. To the Seniors, I would say that yours is an enviable segment of the total time. There is so much being done and so much to do! There are so many new frontiers being opened that were unheard of justa generation ago. New knowledge and new opportunities abound. Your graduation is the least of the continuously mounting rewards which will accrue to you through determination and perseverance. We commend you for past accomplishments. We urge that you continuously strive toward the attainment of your goals. Spence Mr. Spence served on the Weleetka school board for twenty years. For ten of those years he acted as president of the board. There is no reward for being a school board member other than the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping the youth of a community. Mr. Spence certainly must have had that satisfaction. We, as a student body and faculty, are indeed grateful for the time he gave to make our school better.
