FOREWORD The editor doing his usual job. At 8:00 o'clock each morning, another day is begun at Weleetka High School. Her corridors echo with chatter about homecoming, the junior-senior banquet, the biology test, or Saturday night’s date. To a few it is just a school,” but to the majority of students it is the place where they learned together, shared together, and had fun together. A year at Weleetka High is a composite of activities. The annual staff tries to preserve these activities and memories for you in one small book each year. We are happy to present this year’s book, the 1969 ‘‘Outlaw.’’ The Annual Staff

Preparing the annual is a lot of work. First, you put up posters for the sales campaign. Then, you sell all the annuals you can, so that you will know how many to get ready. After that comes all of the long hours of picture taking, cutting, pasting, drawing, recutting, repasting, and redrawing that are not pictured here. Also, ads must be sold to help finance the book. Then, comes the glorious day of as- sembly, when the staff gets to present the annual to the school. The staff is always very happy and proud. No one but they know what an achievement it is.
