THE 1965 OUTLAW Published by Student Representatives From the Junior and Senior Classes of Weleetka High School DEDICATION The students of Weleetka High School want you to know that your untiring efforts in their behalf are gratefully appreciated. You have been a friend to all - the underclassmen and seniors alike. May we ever be worthy of your confidence in us! It is for this reason that we, the Senior Class of Weleetka High School, dedicate this yearbook to Mr. and Mrs. Winchester for their perpetual loyalty, friendliness and aid to all around them. IN MEMORY Bobby David Kub, bom on November 9, 1952, attended Weleetka School until his untimely accident on May 4, 1964. He was loved by the students and faculty. Bobby was an active member of the band, cub scouts, and other school and community activities. He had re- cently dedicated his life to God in the First Baptist Church and served faithfully until his death. Though he has departed, he will always be remembered by all those who knew him. To many people, the word “opportunity” has a vague sort of meaning, something suggestive of a promise waiting to be fulfilled. The dictionary describes oppor- tunity” as a combination of circumstances favorable to a purpose. It is the combination that opens the vault to success, and only those that know the combination may enter. Equal opportunity for all is the chance to learn the combination that opens the door to cherished hopes and ambitions. The secret of success in life is to be ready for this door of opportunity when it opens.
