George will graduate this year with plans to further his education and to become a football coach. 1961 Wei eetka Outlaws This team finished the season with a winning streak of 36 games in conference play, three consecutive years in the state play-offs, this year going all the way to the finals. The outlook for the future looks great because there are only five lettermen graduating from the team. -( onference emLers BOB PATTERSON RICHARD KRAMER JOHN ELLIG Atterberry and Humphrey go in for the tackle in the state final game with Thomas. The Outlaws shown in this play against Maud are Anthony. Kramer, C. Ellig, Wise, Humphrey, and Atterberry. Humphrey and Kramer are down in the mud in this play against Thomas in the state finals. After an overlap- ping football sea- son, the boys' team, under the supervision of Mr. Puckett, came a long way in a short time and brought home the winning trophy in the county tour- nament this year. This high school girls' team won the 15C conference in 1960, 1961, and 1962. Last year they won the district tournament and lost in the regionals. This year, they won the largest high school tournament in Oklahoma. As this yearbook goes to publication, they hope to win the state this year. These five senior players have helped in winning these trophies since girls' basketball was started in Weleetka High School when Mr. Stogner came to our school.
