TO WATCH OUR FIGURES Math, like English, proves to be a fundamental essential in everyday living. Some students take only required math, while others continue with solid geome- try, and advanced algebra. Mrs. Clyfton Raeuber and Mr. David Puckett are the math teachers. TO READ Our Library plays an important part in helping students make preparations not only for all classwork but for solving problems in future years. Mrs. Ethel Johnson keeps our library up to date and sponsers a newly organized Library Club. Also, she teaches Art, Jr. High Social Studies and Visual Ed. IN THE BEGINNING So very important to the lives of school children are those first three years. Who could give them a better send- off than Mrs. Violet King, Mrs. Edna Stankewitz, and Mrs. Lewis Kennedy? IN THOSE SUB-TEEN YEARS During the fourth, fifth, and sixth grade years the students often make trying times for themselves, their parents, and their teachers. Mrs. Gilbert Johnson, Mrs. Fred George, and Mrs. Hazel Woods help to smooth out these rough spots and get them ready for Junior High.Hi

TO APPLY OUR KNOWLEDGE The laboratory sciences involving the study of plant and animal life, the earth, chemical elements and phases of physics show us facts and truths. Mr. David Puckett and Mr. Charles Thompson are the science teachers. AND MAKE OURSELVES STRONG Fair play and good sports- mandhip are stressed in the Physical Education classes by Coach Stogner who teaches High School Football, High School Basketball for girls, and Jun- ior High athletics. AND TO SING In vocal music, the trios, quartets, and glee club groups, under the direction of Mrs. Cozette Cooper, give performances throughout the year at school and community programs. TO PLAI Mr. Elwood Winchester spends many hours in teaching small ensembles, working out marching drills, and taking students to contests and parades as well as directing the high school, junior high and grade bands.

hose Who RUFUS CANARD DELBERT DURBIN KENNETH WADE NOBLE WALKER Noble Walker, head cus- todian, is the school electrician and mechanic. He also makes the final checks of the buildings at the close of school and after any extra- curricular activities. Rufus Canard, Delbert Durbin, and Kenneth Wade drive many miles in good and bad weather bringing us to school on time and taking us on extra-curricular activities.
