TO APPLY OUR KNOWLEDGE The laboratory sciences involving the study of plant and animal life, the earth, chemical elements and phases of physics show us facts and truths. Mr. David Puckett and Mr. Charles Thompson are the science teachers. AND MAKE OURSELVES STRONG Fair play and good sports- mandhip are stressed in the Physical Education classes by Coach Stogner who teaches High School Football, High School Basketball for girls, and Jun- ior High athletics. AND TO SING In vocal music, the trios, quartets, and glee club groups, under the direction of Mrs. Cozette Cooper, give performances throughout the year at school and community programs. TO PLAI Mr. Elwood Winchester spends many hours in teaching small ensembles, working out marching drills, and taking students to contests and parades as well as directing the high school, junior high and grade bands.

TO DEVELOP OUR SKILLS Of course, there is seme talent among us in industrial work. Ambitions to become engineers, architects, mechanics, or cabinet makers prompts us to choose industrial arts electively with Mr. Charles Thompson. He also assists in the science department and has two classes each day in Driver Education. TO KNOW OUR NEIGHBORS Realizing that through tolerance and understanding we be- come world citizens, many endeavor to know more about the various nations and their contributions through the years. These are stud- ied by the World History, Sociology, Economics, Oklahoma History, Civics, and American History classes. American History is taught by Mr. Jack Stogner. The rest are taught by Mr. L.B. Kennedy. TO COOK AND SEW Convinced that future heme makers should know how t® pre- pare and serve foods, to design and make clothing, and how to operate a home economically, many enroll in Heme Economics with Mrs. Jack Stogner. TO HARM Many future fanners enroll in Vocational Agriculture with Mr. Gene Hodgens. Under his guidance and with projects of their own, the fanners of tomorrow are making a careful, scientific study of farm problems and better farm management.

TO WATCH OUR FIGURES Math, like English, proves to be a fundamental essential in everyday living. Some students take only required math, while others continue with solid geome- try, and advanced algebra. Mrs. Clyfton Raeuber and Mr. David Puckett are the math teachers. TO READ Our Library plays an important part in helping students make preparations not only for all classwork but for solving problems in future years. Mrs. Ethel Johnson keeps our library up to date and sponsers a newly organized Library Club. Also, she teaches Art, Jr. High Social Studies and Visual Ed. IN THE BEGINNING So very important to the lives of school children are those first three years. Who could give them a better send- off than Mrs. Violet King, Mrs. Edna Stankewitz, and Mrs. Lewis Kennedy? IN THOSE SUB-TEEN YEARS During the fourth, fifth, and sixth grade years the students often make trying times for themselves, their parents, and their teachers. Mrs. Gilbert Johnson, Mrs. Fred George, and Mrs. Hazel Woods help to smooth out these rough spots and get them ready for Junior High.Hi
