WORDS OF WISDOM LEWIS B. High School Principal It has been a pleasure for me to serve as Junior High Principal this year and, certainly, a good feeling to know that you have in- cluded the Junior high classes and activities in your annual. We will be sending some students into high school next year who, we feel, will be a credit to the high school and its mapy facets of school life. TO THE STUDENTS CP WELEETKA HIGH: Surely the day is not far distant in your lives when each will be expect- ed by all to paddle his own cancel I am persuaded, by py experiences and observations, that it is not unusual when we are compelled by duty or necess- ity to accept new challenges and respon- sibilities which we had not anticipated. We may conclude, if this observ- ation is true in your own experiences, that it is most propitious for us to avail ourselves of the best in every learning situation. Principals Sincerely, DAVID PUCKETT Junior High FROM OARD OF DUCATION

TO DEVELOP OUR SKILLS Of course, there is seme talent among us in industrial work. Ambitions to become engineers, architects, mechanics, or cabinet makers prompts us to choose industrial arts electively with Mr. Charles Thompson. He also assists in the science department and has two classes each day in Driver Education. TO KNOW OUR NEIGHBORS Realizing that through tolerance and understanding we be- come world citizens, many endeavor to know more about the various nations and their contributions through the years. These are stud- ied by the World History, Sociology, Economics, Oklahoma History, Civics, and American History classes. American History is taught by Mr. Jack Stogner. The rest are taught by Mr. L.B. Kennedy. TO COOK AND SEW Convinced that future heme makers should know how t® pre- pare and serve foods, to design and make clothing, and how to operate a home economically, many enroll in Heme Economics with Mrs. Jack Stogner. TO HARM Many future fanners enroll in Vocational Agriculture with Mr. Gene Hodgens. Under his guidance and with projects of their own, the fanners of tomorrow are making a careful, scientific study of farm problems and better farm management.
