Joe nurse . . . thoughtful One day during the fall of 1956 marked the beginning' of avery important era in the lives of the present Senior Class of Weldon High School. We had finally reached our last plateauinour public school education-our entrance into high school. In spite of excellent counseling by our homeroom teachers we found it very difficult to know exactly where we were supposed to be at the right time. To make matters worse, there were only forty-two ofus, andwe felt very small indeed. We regarded the Seniors with much awe and ad- miration. How big they seemed! Why, they knew just about everything. Soon we settled down into the daily schedule of home work, classes and school activities.
