This cheerfulness exhib- ited to all her students is just one explanation of why they all love her. When in the midst of read- ing to the class, Mrs. Wallace looked up and saw someone en- gaged in thoughts of his own, she would politely request, Will you please come back from the Ely- sian fields ? flea If someone protested that the Algebra II assignment was too long, Mr. Thomas would say, Ho, that'S not too rnuchwork for you to do.
