Thomas, School Superintendent, tribute is here paid for his complete dedication to the development of the students' minds and characters, and to the progress of the school. ' Between teaching World History and geometry, performing the duties of principal and coaching football,Mr. Davis rarely has a free moment. The students take this opportunity to say thanks for the many ways in which he encourages them. ' Where else is there such an efficient secretary as Miss Pierce ? Each day she is faced with endless chores and yet somehow she gets them all done-disposing of correspondence, filling out or filing records, answering the phone, handling school funds, and for a month, taking over as school superintendent.

After reviewing last night's football practice, last week's game, and proposed plays for next W eek's game, Mr. Davis w o uld start the class off with Let's hustle. gaculty Familiar to Mrs. Joyner's students is Bonjour, mes 'ele- ves. This cheerfulness exhib- ited to all her students is just one explanation of why they all love her. When in the midst of read- ing to the class, Mrs. Wallace looked up and saw someone en- gaged in thoughts of his own, she would politely request, Will you please come back from the Ely- sian fields ? flea If someone protested that the Algebra II assignment was too long, Mr. Thomas would say, Ho, that'S not too rnuchwork for you to do. Hey, Hey! You want some more ? Plenty more in the book. Someone in the student council occasionally suggested some rather radical action, and Mrs. Savage would hastily re- prove, We just can't do that now! That's just not proper.
