SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS Dear Graduates of 1963: You have no doubt seen above the auditorium in your school the following quotation: WHAT SCULPTURE IS TO A BLOCK OF MARBLE, EDUCATION IS TO AN HUMAN SOUL.” Since you have been in Farmingdale, all the efforts of the teachers, administrators and the members of the Board of Education have been directed to- ward providing the tools necessary for you to ob- tain the education proper to your age. You have contributed your energies; your parents have given their encouragement and support. I hope these contributions have had the desired results.
