National Honor Society On March 26, 1954, thirty-four mem- bers of the Senior Class were inducted in- to The National Honor Society. Each per- son received a card and pin portraying a torch and the letters C, S, L, S. These let- ters stand for the four ideals of the society; character, scholarship, leadership, and service. Each student should strive to achieve these ideals throughout his high school years. The people inducted into this socie- ty have successfully done so and can truly be proud of the honor bestowed upon them.
