George Cook This year the members are busily engaged in a proiect designed to increase their knowledge and ap- preciation of New York State hist- ory during the era of the Revolu- tion. Jr Red Cross Presidents Rita W0lUk9WICl Martha Saenz Vice President Jane Dettlmg Secretary Judy Van Derzee Treasurer Frances Viola The organization consists of a County Council composed of offi cers and members from the various schools and a local council consist mg of representatives from each homeroom Special prolects forthe year were Christmas stockings for the veterans at Northport Cover 50 were filledj and gift boxes for children overseas which will be filled around Easter time Visual Aids Crew Chiefs Leonard Trifaro Henry Valudez The Prolectionust Club is a service some of their study halls and free time to operate the audio visual equipment in the classrooms of the High School and Elementary School They learn the operation maintenance and the organization of the Audio Visual Department Lighting Staff The duties of the Lighting Staff members are to operate the lights and microphones during all semblies plays and meetings and to keep them in working condition At least two members are on call backstage on each one of these occasions Mr Armbruster is the sponsor I - organization of boys who give - , , . .
