gfdii 9305112 THE GRADUATES OF 1950 Our thoughts go back to those by-gone days When we started out to school. We were such little girls and boys, But we learned the golden rule, Our ABC's and two times two's Did vex us quite a lot, But when we reached our high school days All these were soon forgot. VVe studied all our lessons hard. We wrote themes by the pages We're sure that their eloquence Will last through all the ages, Those noble plays and famous poems Learned at our teacher's side, Have helped us to face our public With assurance and deep pride. Somehow we have come through it all And now comes graduation, From study halls and books and tests- Oh, what a celebration! We've dreamed our dreams in high school When we were young and free, But now we're looking for the day When we will wiser be. Hut to part from all our classmates, And from our teachers dear, Brings to our hearts great sorrow, And to our eyes a tear. Now at this time, dear seniors, Let us remember, one and all, Always to honor Welcome School And ever to heed her call.
