Earliest Winner Fellows. Gene Nesbitt, 1957 Idaho State Farmer was declared high scorer among l3 chapter winners in the Western Idaho District Co- operative contest to receive a trip to the National Institute of Cooperatives Conven- tion at Pennsylvania State College. Another honor received by Gene is the District F.F.A. Public Speaking Award. Beth Dey competed with 170 sophomore and iunior entrants in essay and oratorical competition to win the right to participate in the United Nations Pilgrimage for Youth sponsored by the Rebekahs and Odd Vaunda Young was winner of the District Knights of Pythias contest and second place winner of the state contest on the basis of her excellent oral presentation of the topic Youth Looks Towards the Future Vaunda also won over local competition in the American Legion oratorlcal contest tv on the Bill of Rights
