CONGRATULATIONS, CLASS OF 1957 You have spent the last twelve years preparing yourself for the future- The advancing times offer you a wealth of opportunities. The scientific field is tremendous, with its nuclear power, electrical advancementsg the medical field with its vaccines, serums, and research, the business world with its many types of enterprisesg and other fields too numerous to mention. Your education is a lifetime process regardless of the field you may enter. The cornerstone has been laid, but the building is far from completed. The best of luck to each and every one of you in building your home of the future. it Ertnrenimi 3509. High School students today are destined to live in a world dominated in peace or war by the impact of scientific and technological progress. They must, then, have an understanding of the goals, methods, and importance of chemistry and other basic sciences. In fact, it becomes increasingly important that tomorrow's citizen have a broad general background of education if he is to lead a purposeful and useful life. i LLOYD .l.
