Scofzec Weir 40 - Follansbee 7 Two unbeaten teams clashed but only one emerged the victor. Tom Bloom, All- State candidate, displayed his prowess as he turned in a superb ninety-six yard run. Weir 34 - Martins Ferry 0 The Red Riders, having complete control of the ball from the opening kickoff to the final whistle, subdued Ferry to make it nineteen straight. Weir 42 - Clarksburg 7 Weir fa ns thronged to Clarksburg in large numbers to witness one of the best per- formances by team and band alike ever presented in the Clarksburg stadium. Jim Foley, Bill Anderson, and Jay Schoolcraft take time out from practice for a little relaxation. Weir as - Wheeling 12 The Wildcats made known their desire to win as they sidelined three of our star players in another battle at the Wheeling Island Stadium. Weir 0 - Parkersburg 25 The hopes for another un- defeated season went up in smoke as an enthusiastic Big Red team turned in a flawless performance and downed the Red Riders.
