Working feverishly to meet the deadline, Sha- ron Brohard, Beth Lucas and their staff worked conscientiously to bring this story to you. ADVERTISING STAFF Soliciting ads was the task undertaken by the advertising staff. Early in October, Cindy Miller and her assistants began canvassing the business districts of Weirton and surrounding areas to raise the funds vital for the publica- tion of the '59 Weirite. TYPING STAFF Nothing was heard but the clicking of type- writers as typing editor, Betty Veselich super- vised her staff to complete the final copy before deadline. ART STAFF: JoAnn Mamula, Donna Mamula, Jeanette Digby, Michael Yurko. Linda Wright, Sue Conrad. CIRCULATION STAFF There's still time to buy a Weirite. -This is only one of the mottos Pam Paul and her cir- culation staff used in conducting the sales cam- paign. Financial manager Pauline Shernisky had the almost impossible job of keeping treas- urer's books in order. ART STAFF Creating posters used in the sales campaign was the initial activity of the art staff. Donna Mamula and Jeannette Digby spent many hours with their staff cutting and pasting pictures which will bring back many fond memories in the years to come. Mr. Robert Haworth super- vised the art work. SPORTS STAFF lt has been another outstanding season for sports at Weir High. Joe Guzzetta, sports edi- tor, had the task of compiling scores and game write-ups to cover the excitement of these con- tests. SPORTS STAFF: Bob Gracey, David Robertson, Joe Guzzetta Bob Null.
