Prophet Dear Peggy, Your letter was waiting when I returned from my flight to China, and I was very happy to learn that you like your position as a buyer of men's pajams for Marshall Fields in Chicago. I find my career as an airline hostess for Trans World Airlines exciting and interest- ing. I get to travel around quite a bit, and on my trips I see so many of our fellow classmates . While I was in Los Angeles, I met Margaret Ross, and to my surprise she is the girl in the regular size Old Gold dancing pack. Margaret told me that Buck White, formerly known as William White, is a girdle salesman and he sold his first one to Wayne Kennedy. Now Wayne is a Captain in the French Foreign Legion. As I boarded the plane to go to Paris I found the name, Lois Fudge on my passenger list. I went to see if it was the Lois I went to school with and it was . Lois told me she was a commerce teacher, and she was spending her vacation in Paris . She told me that Retha Gorley was a missionary, Tom Hubbard, an electrician, Annabel Markham, a speech teacher, and Noel Maxwell had become a muel skinner. On my way back from Paris Larry Lucas boarded the plane to go back to the Air Force base in San Francisco. Larry has decided to make 20 years in the Air Force his career. Larry told me that Ver- nice Lomax was an Air Force Nurse and that Lula Cutshall was now a secretary for one of the M.G.M. directors . The plane landed in San Francisco, and I went out to lunch. On my way to the restaurant I saw Reba Gorley. She said she was a nurse in New York and was in California for her vacation . Reba told me she went home to Weir to see her father and while she was in Weir she saw Mary Ann Mummert and that Mary Ann was now a house wife . As we were leaving Di- Maggio's restaurant, Reba said that Bill Van Houten was a bookie in New York and was doing fine . Well, Peggy, I'll close for now . Write when you have time. l 0 Love.
