Prophec f Dear Mary Ann: 5 September 5, 1963 Surprise! Surprise! Look who's here! Mary Lou and I found each other in London--quite by accident--but that part of the story is too long to tell, The first thing we did was to compare notes on Weir H1 classmates of 1953. We had an enjoyable time reminiscing. There were a few of whom we had lost contact through the years, but Mary Lou began to use the overseas telephone and soon had everyone on the line. This is what we have dug up: Don Martin, better known as Tub, is a foreman on a dude ranch in Wyoming, a land of boots n' saddles with adventure, relaxation, and Western romance. Mrs. John Woolis Cformerly known as Wanda Smithl is now living in Chicago She is assistant director of Federal Civil Defense. Jerry Golledge is HKing of the Speedwayn on the salt beds of Utah. We have learned that Helen Marti B. X. operator for the Marshall P. Sue Scott graduated from the McC t is n finally realized her amoltion. She is a Field Company in Chicago. onnell Airline School in Minneapolis. She employed as a flight hostess wi h Eastern Airlines. Wa e in the Shirley Larson has carried out her secret ambition and is now a v service of the good old U. S. A. And look at our glamour gal Verda Mariel She is a model at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York Citv. Neva June Mishler is a pianist w a tour in Europe. Mrs. James Bennett, City, Missouri, where Company. rietor of the Joe McKenna is prop on every sale Missouri. His dollar class. You remember Inna, boys who will some day make Weir H1 Guess what! We met Cleo Jones in and likes his job very much. Someone prophesied that Jane Ann Horace Mann. Well she isl And our Bob Larson has climbed t the General Motors Corporation. Then, there's Anna Lou. Remembe she's in the height of her glory as City, Missouri. O'Malley that ith the Philharmonic Orchestra and is on better known as Marlene Curtis, is residing in Kansas her husband is employed with the United Brick and Tile Bertram Brothers Motor Company in Joplin, has catapulted him into the millionaire is, she has a nice family of five darling a fine basketball team. Wichita a while back. He is a jet pilot Greer would be a primary teacher at he ladder of success to become president of r, how fastidious she always was? Well, a cosmetic clerk at Macy's in Kansas Carol Jean is employed as a bookkeeper for Spencer Chemical Company. Cecil Flood is a chemist and director of the Universal Research Laboratories in Newark, New Jersey. Now here's the pay-off! Every one thought our Shirley Vanderpool would marry and settle down in Weir, but not sog she runs a greyhound dog kennel in Tallahassee, Florida. Imagine that! Well, Mary Ann, since Mary Lou and I are galivanting around together for L. A. We ho e to see you in action as awhile we think we will get back to nChristyH. Isn't television wonder inauguration back in the old Weir H days for us. P ful? Remember when we tried to see ulkesn 1 days?
