VICE PRINCIPALS “The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, But in ourselves ...” Shakespeare: Julius Caesar I hope your high school years have served you well, because these years к critical т terms of the adult you will become. Each milestone in your life closes one ch: ipter and sets the stage for another. One of the most productive social growth lessons you should have learned is to approach each problem by taking a long, objective look in the mirror. Life is usu; ally as good to you as you are true to your dreams. In this olympic year, we have witnessed many instances of extraordinary determination and courage. As you go out from this place and time, remember to always strive to do your personal best. Go for the GOLD! Catherine M. Murphy Vice Principal Norma Brown Each year at this time, I am asked to prepare a statement for the Legend and each year, I try to think of something new, clever, and different to say! Because after all, the Class of 1989 will be the Only One Of It’s Kind! But even though you are different, you are similar in so many ways to the young men and women who have gone on be fore you. Similar in that you have passed the necessary courses, earned the required credits and have been approved to receive a New Jersey High School Diploma. But you are different because your experiences and career choices will take you down different paths than those of your predecessors. I can only ask that you chose your path with care, sincerity and after much thought; that you not let the ills and evil of this word deter you from the path you choose. I also ask that you travel along your path representing W eequahic High School with dignity and pride and in such a manner that the path you pave makes it easier for those who come after you. Continue to make us proud to have known you. God bless you all. Norma F. Brown Vice Principal
