SUCCESS One dictionary define success as being a favorable termination of venture. Another says success is the attainment of wealth, fame. etc. Still another says success is a termination ui result of any prosperous affair. So you a«e. each individual has his own definition of success and what this word means to him. Success to one could mean fatiure to another In order to gain success, one must first aim his goals high and strive for the top in whatever he may choose. Some prefer the latter which states that success is the term or results for a favorable affair. In order to be successful one must hold firm to his ideas, be liefs. convictions etc. and do whatever possible to make dreams a reality. Once you have achieved success in your technology of the word, you must work equally as hard to maintain a level of success to your own personal satisfaction. Being seniors at Weequahic. in just a few short months we will enter a new world of continuing educational dreams, employment and focusing on what we want our own lives to be and that of ihose who w-ill directly be affected by that we choose. We will fully define and understand what success is and what it means to us. Success is being the best that you can be in whatever endeavors, working hard towards a goal that completely satisfies and meets our needs. Success ts strength and endurance to meet all attainable goals that wc have chosen to pursue. We know that success is not an inheritance. We know that success is an individual task and each person must work towards his own goals. No matter how-successful your ancestors are or were, you must achieve your own success in life. Don't let success overrule you or guide you into thv wrong paths. Many people have ended up on skid-row because thev were not able to face success with tolerance, understanding and acceptance that is so desperately important. Most of all. one must learn to be thankful for whatever has been bestowed upon him. Determine your own destination through success and what the word means to you in all phases of daily life. S is for Strength — For in order to be successful, one must have strength to endure whatever pitfalls may come before him. U is for Useful — Tor in order to be successful, one must hove some usefulness for his ideas and goals in order to make them reality. C is for Concern — For in order to be successful, one must show concern and interests for goals that he has set for himself. C is for Competition — For in order to be successful, one must learn to compete with obstacles that seem impossible to overcome. E is for Endurance — For in order to be successful, one must endure the tasks of accepting defeat and recognizing it as a step toward his goals. S is for Sa« rifice — For in order to be successful, one must sacrifice the hardships of dealing with everyday life and its problems. S is for Satisfaction — For in order to be successful, one must be satisfied that he has reached his goals and aims in life to his own personal satisfaction.
