Ash, Abraham H. Abe's favorites include sports, books, especially The Red Badge of Courage, cars, folk and popular music, Johnny Mathis, and the expression You bet your bird!” He has been a Sagamore and manager of the soccer team for three years. This quiet boy has worked at the Hillside Shop-Rite, and hopes to be a store manager after attending college. Ashkanazy, Rosai.yn A friendly, warm person, Roz has a natural liking for people. This will help her in the career she has chosen — social work. Rozy, a former salesgirl and doctor's receptionist, has been of great assistance in the Guidance office and the Foreign language office. The French, Spanish, Math and Science clubs have received her special attention. She also enjoys reading, (Death Be not Proud), sewing, and going to the movies. Axei.rad, Lorraine Judith Lorri's existence seems dependent upon tuna on rye with Russian dressing. She does, however, manage to find time to work in Rubin Brothers' Drug Store. A future recording artist, I-orri enjoys swimming, dancing, and ice-skating. You'll never know! is her favorite saying. Baldwin, Joan Elizabeth 'Foxy,' who worked as a stylist in a wig shop, plans to become a housewife. During her study period, she worked as a nurse’s aid to Mrs. August. Joan likes Italian and American food and all kinds of music. Bowling, skating, and golf arc but a few of her favorite pastimes. Bardack, Susan Bonnie Carefree Susan plans to attend college, and later become a phys. cd. teacher. She loves swimming, and has taught the sport after school and during the summer at the Y. Besides sports, Susan enjoys her Y social club, the guitar, the piano, and Fuff the Magic Dragon.” Barish, Robert Planning to attend Stevens Institute of Technology, Bob spent last summer improving his oboe technique. His musical interests arc shown by his activity in the school band and orchestra and by his position as first oboist in the N. J Symphony Junior Orchestra. A member of the National Honor Society, Bob enjoys listening to classical music. Barr, Michael Although he calls himself lazy. Mike has already been accepted at Rutgers University, where he will major in engineering. Mike was on the J.V. football team in his sophomore and junior years, and is a member of the Math Team and the projection staff. In his free time, Mike enjoys sports, cards. Chinese food, comic books, and rock 'n' roll. Baskin, Alan I. Alan plans to attend Montclair State Teachers college to become a phys. cd. teacher. Always busy, he has worked as a stock boy. a magazine salesman, an assistant motel manager, and a golf caddy. ' Different'' Al has participated in intramural basketball, indoor and outdoor track, and was cocaptain of the cross country team in his senior year. His interests include stamp and coin collecting, tennis. Young Judea, steak, and historical novels. Baugh, Roselyn Yvonne Whether changing diapers or reading stories, Roselyn has a wonderful way with kids. Snook's frequent babysitting chores have proven her ability to handle kids. Result: a decision to attend Paterson or Jersey City State Teachers College to become a kindergarten teacher. For recreation, she likes to sing with a rock and roll group known as ' The Leaguers. In school she's been secretary of various classes. Beckekman, Martin Pace College is Martin's future plan, where he hopes to become an accountant. Although he does not consider himself very studious, he does find the Contemporary Club a worthwhile activity. Martin spends his spare time cither working on his paper route, playing stickball. or watching the great New York Mets. Becker.man, Robert A member of the Contemporary Club. Bob is an able golfer, and has worked as a caddie. This ambitious boy of varied interests shows no partiality when it comes to food; he loves chow mein, pizza and Hungarian goulash. Bob will attend business college and plans to become a tycoon. Bei.f, Diane Joan Diane, who has been Calumet agent for three years, has also worked as secretary to Mr Fein The Y. dating, and driving keep Diane busy. Affectionate Diane has worked as a salesgirl after school, but hopes to become a professional model in the fall and a successful wife and mother in future years. Bell, Mary E. Friendly Mary wants very much to be both a good secretary and a good homemaker. At the present, however, Mary's outside activities arc skating, bowling, and babysitting. Ding-Dong relaxes with a good book, good music, and something good to cat. Bei l, Wayne Ali en Wayne, known to his friends, as Dina Dona, describes himself as sneaky. After working in a clothes store, he was inspired to become a fashion designer. Wayne's interests range from basketball and girls to playing the piano and drawing. Bei.owsky, Leonard Little Lenny plans a future of having a wife and four children, and also of becoming a jockey. He has worked at a wholesale liquor store, and in our school bookrooms. Bowling and driving take up much of Lenny's spare time, and his favorites are pizza and Chinese food. He hopes to attend Union Junior College in the fall. Benjamin, Rochelle Laura Always smiling. Shelly has the perfect personality to cheer up an ailing patient, and that's just what she wants to do — become a nurse. Shelly's plans also include being a housewife, and her cooking talents are sure to be a great asset. In school. Shelly has been secretary of several classes, and has also been Calumet representative for three years. Outside of school, Shelly enjoys swimming, bowling or dancing 3
