Denari , Robert Sports-minded Bobby is an invaluable asset to both the football and basketball teams. Academic as well as sports-minded, he has been an algebra tutor and a gym chairman. His other interests include girls and music, in that order. After college, Bobby, intends to become a busy man, behind a desk, with a family to support DeVito, Vincent Vinny hopes to attend Newark College of Engineering, and then go into the I B M. field. He enjoys hunting, water skiing, food, money, and sports. Dibtze, Thomas Tom's future plans? 'To make a good living and to have some fun. He enjoys camping, baseball, football, and folk songs. In the fall Tom plans, realistically, to work as a dyer. Dockery, Elaine B. Combining the job of model and housewife is Elaine's main goal for the future. Sweet Laney loves skating, dancing, boys, steak, green peas, and cherry pics. Her favorite expression? Sure is strange. Doernbr, Barbara M. Bowling, swimming, dancing, and singing fill much of Bobi's time. In school, she was a member of the Cheerleading Club and an O.B.A. representative. Bobi has done secretarial work for several of her teachers, and after school as well. This happy girl, who plans to become a dental assistant, will enroll at Essex County Adult Vocational School in September. Dom brow ski, Janet A. To take care of three children and a wonderful husband is Jan's hope for the future. By working as a secretary for various teachers, she has gained much valuable experience in the secretarial field. When she's not enjoying a steak sandwich or a Chinese dinner, Jan likes to bowl, drive or play piano. Dorfi.aufer, Kenneth Dorf plans to go to college in the fall and become an accountant. In the past, he had a job at Dave's Hot Dog Haven and was a member of the soccer team. Bowling, girls, steak, and rock n' roll take up much of his spare time. Dovidas. Thomas Tom plans to work for United Airlines in the fall and eventually take up a career in the business world. He enjoys bowling, camping, horseback riding, but docs not forget about girls. Tom, who has been chairman of his accounting class, describes himself as cool. Drazin, Pegoy Very friendly Peg has been well known for her easy-going ways. She is happiest sitting beside her boy friend in his 1958 Oldsmobile, speeding up South Orange Avenue to Gruning's. In the fall she plans to attend Beth Israel Nursing School. Among her favorites are The Good Earth. chocolate sundaes. Johnny Mathis and West Side Story. Dreunowicz, Pauline Pediatrics is a big aim for a petite girl like Pauline. A Y member, Paul enjoys music, singing, skiing, and dancing. Also high-ranking on her list of favorites are pizzaburgers, Johnny Mathis, and Paul Anka. Pauline has been active in Weequahic as secretary in various classes. Drummer, Jacqueline Dolores Athletic Jackie has been a gym captain throughout her years at Weequahic. A real sports fan. she particularly enjoys bowling, skating, and swimming. After post-high school training at Central State, Jackie hopes to become a professional singer. Duchon, Steven Introspectivcly tense. Steve was editor of Ergo. He enjoys writing, reading Colin Wilson. Nietzsche, Camus, and Dostoevsky; Valley Fair parking lot; and cold nights. Lack of money forced him to take a job as a dishwasher in a Cape Cod restaurant last summer. After college, he plans to write and travel. Dunn, Peter Joseph Pete, who has been at Weequahic for two years, has found playing basketball his most rewarding experience. He is interested in sports cars, the New York Mets and all types of athletics. Football and other intramural sports have been Pete's greatest sources of pleasure. Faci e, David R. High-flying Dave plans to become a phys. ed. teacher. Eags describes himself as lazy, but you wouldn't think so; he has worked as a stock and office boy, A sports fan. Dave's favorite saying is Hold tight.” Fuel man, Stuart One of the inimitable Margie s boys. Mopeeka lists as his favorite hobbies: girls, rock n’ roll, and lobster casseroles. An athlete as well, he has participated in both the indoor and outdoor track teams and cross-country running. College-bound. Stuic has his eye on the stock market as a possible career. Edwards. Irene She is obviously interested in music. Irene has played the piano for six years, and has sung in our Glee Club. Quite naturally, she wants to teach music in a high school Irene, who has been an usherette, a member of the Latin Club, and Legend Staff, also enjoys tennis and reading. Efimchik, Alexander, III President of a Russian-Ukranian folk dance group, Alexander is a boy of many interests. In his rare spare time, he bowls, collects stamps, and eats anything edible. Usually a hard worker, Alex will enter the world of business in September. Eidlin, Martin Alan Loquacious Martin plans to attend college, and later become a psychiatrist. A Calumet reporter and a tutor, he is a member of both the National and Spanish Honor Societies, and many clubs. The National Merit Scholarship finalist s the piano with his private band, reads, collects coins, plays cjicss. Martin emphatically agrees with Wilde, who said, I have the simplest tastes. I am satisfied with the best.” Elek, Michele M. College-bound Michele hopes to become a member of the foreign service. Mish,” as she is called by her friends, is an active hospital volunteer and babysitter, and also a member of the Student Council, Contemporary Club, and Scholarship Committee. Michele enjoys ice skating, horseback riding, movies, and listening to popular show music. Elliot, Robert Although his immediate plans after school arc to relax and keep in shape, calm Butch hopes to become a commercial designer. Much of his spare time is spent listening to music, and drawing. Epstein, Francis Planning to major in athletics at Syracuse, Francis has been manager of the fencing team. Last summer, he was a chimney sweep; currently he is a Sagamore, on the library staff, and an avid member of the Great Books and Contemporary clubs. Hotlips Franny likes Frank Sinatra, Gone With the Wind, West Side Story, Edna St. Vincent Millay, and the whole U.J.A. Erdman, C. Robert Phantabulous is the word for Bob. Although he has been Sagamore Captain and president of the German Club, his main interest is his car. A future Montclair State student. Bob hopes to become a teacher. Eule, Janet Susan Keane paintings, Frank Sinatra, knitting, egg rolls, and Marjorie Morningstar arc all part of Janet’s world. As strange as it may seem, Janet has even worked as a butcher. She is interested in helping others, and was a treasurer for the Cerebral Palsy drive. She hopes to attend Essex County Vocational School to become a dental assistant. Parkas, Phyllis Likeable, thoughtful Phyllis is always involved in some club or organization. A dedicated member of the legend staff, secretary of the Contemporary Club and Student Scholarship Fund, past President of the Hebrew Club, she has also been a member of the Honor Society. At her leisure, Phyllis enjoys sewing, Hebrew, novels, potato latkcs,” and the Young Israel Teen Organization. Fastnacht, Edward Big Ed, mad about fast Pontiacs and drag racing, has the usual fondness for girls. A hard worker, he has held a job as a gas station attendant for the past few years. Ed has decided to enter beauticians' school in the fall. Feinberg, Ira M. A jack of all trades” truly describes Ira. An active member of the Contemporary Club and an assistant editor of the Calumet, Ira has also been manager of the baseball team. His leisure time is devoted to playing golf, eating pizza, listening to folk music, awaiting the arrival of Friday, and working as an assistant to a travel agent. Ira is headed for the Ivy League. Feldman, Bonnie Ann Vivacious Bon is a fun-loving gal. Her many interests range from bagels and lox to Richard Chamberlain. Knitting, sewing, boys, and reading arc some of her main hobbies. Bonnie hopes to become a therapist for mentally retarded children. A member of various clubs and a junior counselor at the Y,” Bonnie is always bubbling over with things to say. Feldman, George Violent George, whose main interest is semantics, plans to become an English professor. An up-and-coming poet influenced by Camus. Rilke, Mann, Trakl. and Yeats, he usually spends his spare time writing, reading, or listening to Beethoven, Shubcrt, and Gerry Mulligan. He has been past editor of Ergo, and is currently published in Locus Solus, an internationally famous literary magazine. Feldman, Steven Unk is a bug on weightlifting. Organizer and coach of the Chancellor Barbell Club, best in the state,” he has placed fourth in state weightlifting compction. A member of the varsity track team, he has also worked as a part-time soda jerk. Steve says he wants to be President. Feldstein, Ronald F. Ronny, who describes himself as human,” enjoys speaking foreign languages, and plans to teach Russian after attending college. A member of the Spanish Honor Society, he has tutored in Russian and Spanish, studied Greek, Indonesian, and Italian, and belonged to the Calumet staff and many clubs. Ronnys other interests arc photography, Mark Twain’s essays, Pushkins poetry, Tchaikovsky’s violin concerto, and pizza. Feller, Marilyn Arlene At Wccquahic, Lynn has been a great help serving as a Sagamore and Nurse's Aid. When not involved with school-work, Lynn enjoys listening to Johnny Mathis or Paul Anka. However, she does confess that boys, the Y, and Italian food get most of her attention. Lynn works part-time at the Star Co., but after her high school graduation, will enroll at a beaury school, or settle down to a nice, steady job. Ferman, Marcia Susan Athletically inclined, Marsh, is a member of the girls' basketball team, and enjoys fxiwling, swimming and horseback riding as well. In school, Marcia has served as secretary of her Spanish, biology and algebra classes. After school hours, she has been a volunteer at the Beth Israel Hospital, a salesgirl and a summer counselor. This lover of Death Be Not Proud and steak hopes to obtain a job in a business office after graduation.
