Glee Club You hear so much of football, and basketball and gym, But do you know, our school's not composed entirely of them? We have another phase of school life which appeals to our mind, A joy to equal music would be very hari to find. What a pleasure to the hearts of youth to sing, and sing and sing, Until the Walls, our hearts and souls with love of it do ring, And the echo of the music will linger in the heart When our little band of singers have drifted far apart. Yes, the music was a pleasure, but would it have been such If our faithful, patient teacher had not worked so hard and much? To the one who labored with us then, the tribute's surely due, So we'll say to Mrs. Swisher, Here's our hearty thanks to you.

High School Chorus Our High School Chorus, consisting of one hundred and fifteen voices, has done exceptionally fine work this year. Early in the season we appeared in public, giving two of our numbers. This spring we are planning to appear in our own recital which is our main aim in chorus. Some of the pieces which we shall use and which should receive worthy mention are, Comrades of the Roads, Dance of Papaukewis, Car- mena, The Gypsy Song, and Pippas Sons. From her chorus, Mrs. Swisher chose twenty-one voices to form a trio, and eight voices to form the boys double quartette. They will give some special numbers at the Chorus Recital. The selections for all of our work show the wonderful ability for musical interpretation that Mrs. Swisher possesses. In the presentation of cur music, the cooperation of the pupils with their leader will be shown, also hor untiring, ceasless efforts to devel- cp something worthy to show to the public and of which to be proucl. We owe all of our success to her,and feel that without our music and Mrs. Swisher we would have lost the best there was in school life.
