Hi-Y Our Hi-y branch of the Young Men's Christian Association for High Schools, is in its fourth year. The purpose of the organization is to fos- ter better Christian citizenship. It stands for clean speech, clean ath- letics and clean scholarship. The club has been smaller than usual this year and there has been so many other school activities, that they have interfered with the regular meeting and attendance. Eight of the members attended the state camp at Camp Sheldon last summer and enjoyed a very profitable and pleasant vacation of ten days. They were accompanied by their leader, E. E. Green, and brought home several prizes in athletics. About twice as many plan to go this year. The club united with the Girls' Club in a very successful and enjoyable Halloween party last fall and will close the year with a picnic for both clubs, to which all are looking forward. The officers the past year have been Herbert Ambler, president: Ar- thur Dunn, vice-presidentg Edgar Cole, secretary, and Eldon Mendenhall trcasurer.

Glee Club You hear so much of football, and basketball and gym, But do you know, our school's not composed entirely of them? We have another phase of school life which appeals to our mind, A joy to equal music would be very hari to find. What a pleasure to the hearts of youth to sing, and sing and sing, Until the Walls, our hearts and souls with love of it do ring, And the echo of the music will linger in the heart When our little band of singers have drifted far apart. Yes, the music was a pleasure, but would it have been such If our faithful, patient teacher had not worked so hard and much? To the one who labored with us then, the tribute's surely due, So we'll say to Mrs. Swisher, Here's our hearty thanks to you.
