History of Class of '27 In the year of 1923, thirty-two very fresh students UD enrolled in the Freshman class of W. W. H. S. At the first class meeting we nom- inated and elected officers. we chose American Beauty and Grey for class colors. Prof. Green and Miss Back were chosen class sponsor. During the year we had several parties, the first at Miss Back's rooms at schrol. The next was a sleighing party. We met at school in the evening and coasted on one of the long hills near there. When we were tired of coasting we went to Miss Back's rooms and played games and had refreshments. We enjoyed other good times, too, and are looking forward to our re- maining years in high school with enthusiasm.
