As large oaks from little acorns gow, so men and women develop from boys and girls. As the plants, nurtured by the sunshine and rain, gow from saplings into sturdy, sheltering, full-gown trees, so young boys and girls, nurtured by faith, patience, and cooperative effort, gow from awkward youth into mental, moral, and physical maturity. The arrangement of this book is in keeping with the theme of gowth, as we have recorded for you the classes and their activities from the first gade through the twelfth. As you follow the course of this gowth as shown through word and picture, it is our wish that you may find a great deal of pleasure in this chronicle of the year 1957-1958. THE STAFF C0..Edit0r5 Business Manager MARIE GRAY NANCY FLETCHER VIRGINIA EVES df DEDICATION ADMINISTRATION ELEMENTARY FAVORITES ELEMENTARY FACULTY ORGANIZATIONS HIGH SCHOOL CLASSES ATHLETICS HIGH SCHOOL FACULTY ADVERTISEMENTS TO: ISAAC L. WILLIAMS Whose infinite patience and unceasing effort have led us to con- tinued growth in physical fitness, social adjustment, and mental development. You have brought out the best in us, encouraging us always to love the game above the prize. You have spent many hours with us above and beyond the call of duty and it has been a rare privilege during our high school days to have been associated with our Ike.
