Superintendent’s Message Dear Graduates, Class of 1980: Your commencement from Weehawken High School should be of great significance to you and your family as you enter not only a new career but a new decade. The projection for the 1980’s is thematically considered to be the “Energetic Eighties. This theme characterizes the zeal displayed by Americans throughout the land for the duty of our nation to create a better world. The need for energy is being balanced by the concern for safety regulations. The need to feed the hungry is being met by charitable contributions of food supplies, and the need for understanding is being met by the extension of brotherhood. Administration Principal Peter ). Olivieri Dear Graduates: Each of your years here at Weehawken High School has had its impact upon who you are and who you are becoming. As the forces which comprise the pattern of a year are altered, your image of that year is in turn altered. This yearbook will, in future years, serve as a permanent, non-changing reminder of many of your high school experiences.
