ASSISTANT TO THE PRINCIPAL To obtain respect from an entire body of students is a difficult and challenging problem: yet. to Mr. Morris Stein, the solution seems to come quite naturally. With a defi- nite conception of disciplinary pro- cedure he successfully executes one of the many facets connected with his position. Always an ardent supporter of school activities, his familiar smile and cheerful greeting are as frequently seen at a football or baseball game as within the school halls. With wisdom and a concern for others he has been influential in the betterment of many lives. Realizing these quali- ties the student body wishes to express appreciation to this dedi- cated man whose high standards have been the foundation for numerous achievements. PRINCIPAL George Becker Principal Every organization, in order to succeed in its ultimate goal, must have a guiding force. We are fortunate to have such a force in our principal, Mr. George Becker. Mr. Becker is the man behind the organization and success of many aspects of our school life. His boundless enthusiasm and vital- ity have inspired us to try our best in all of our endeavors. So freely giving of his time in all activities, ranging from sports to proms, Mr. Becker acts not only in his capacity as principal, but also as a friend and helper to the stu- dents. He has become more than the ordinary symbol of authority to us; he has gained a permanent place in the heart of each student. 10 Mr. Becker being entertained by a large cast.

FACULTY Underlying our portraits of life, and giving them enduring strengtn is the stable framework formed by our instructors. The wisdom, assur- ance, and sober hues of these strokes are achieved only by years of work and experience. The faculty of Weehawken High School has carefully and deliber- ately guided us toward maturity, and, in so doing, has contributed the firm foundation upon which all other segments are built. Our teachers, realizing the seriousness and endurance of their effect on our canvases, have contributed the richer, deeper, tones of black and purple necessary for the enrichment of any painting. These strokes, which they have so carefully applied, represent not only the guidance and help offered throughout our high school years, but also give us the firmest support with which to face life and the eventual completion of our portraits.
