DIRECTCR OF ID CE We perplexed seniors found a second home in the Guidance Oiifice this past year. We entered the ever-open door full of queries and apprehensions and left laden with pamphlets, encouragement and enthusiasm. Miss Couled showed us that there is no problem which cannot he solved when faced squarely, she instilled faith in our capabilities but never false illusions. However, Miss Gouled's ser- vices were not confined exclusively to seniors. As Guidance Director she planned a program which helped each student meet his educational, occupa- tional and personal problems. We were made to feel confident through her efforts that there is a part for each of us to play in this world. The future will spell out our gratitude. MARGARET I. HOGAN ALICE J. GUULED SUPERVISGR GP INSTRUCTIO Why is Weehawken High up to the minute in modern education? The answer to this question is largely due to Miss Hogan. our Supervisor of Instruction. This busy lady keeps the faculty keyed to current trends and aids to education by securing visual aids and meeting with representatives of the publishers. We are also indebted to Miss Hogan for bringing to our halls the color and spirit of Christmas. She serves as a watchful administrative link between the ollice and faculty. and from this we all reap benefits.
