MR G HAROLDBILLINGI-IAM In September of 1924 Mr Bill mgham entered the XVeehawken school system As the only male teacher he xx as prnileged to sit on the platform with the Board of Lducation at graduations A student of the Umtcd States lNax y Officers Training School in 1918 and the recipient of his BS degree from the Unix ersity of New Hampshire Market New Hampshire Evening School while stlll a Senior ln col lege' Mr Billmgham has had many avocations throughout his life and has achiexed many honors along with them He has been college checker champ Lastern Inter Col legiate tu o mile championship ree ord holder captain of the unde feated New Lngland Championship Cross country team and Hudson County table tennis champion to mention but a few of his many ac comphshments He has also had over eighty articles on engineering subiects published VVhen asked about his special hobbies a broad grin lights his face and he proceeds to mention his three children X MISS MARGARET HOGAN Though at present Supervisor of Instruction, Miss Hogan's long career at XVeehawken has also in- cluded the teaching of the commer- cial subiects. She attended New York University and there received her BS. and M.A. degrees. XVhile teaching at Kearny, New jersey, which at that time xx as also a new school 'Xllss Hogan xx as observed by Mr johnson the principal of our old school She thought he was a book salesman but at the end of the day he made known the fact that he had come to offer her a position at W eehawken During her sabbatical leave she has traveled to Canada Mexico and to various parts of the United States In 1941 a family illness prex ented hcr from completing a trip to I-Iawau If she had been able to leave conditions at that time might have prexented her return I-Ier flou er garden one of her faxorite pastimes seems a poor comparison with her own sunny cheerful personality .9-fr? ,- ff .J ,I .
