..I?'N TO THIQ CITIZENS OFTHI1 NVIIDSPORI C.IzN'I RAL SCHOOI. DISTRICT The challenge to our young people has never been so great in our entire historyfto prepare themselves tor competent citi- zenship-to learn to appreciate our freedomito be prepared to live for, work for. and even light for democracy. Your new junior-Senior High School will provide the necesf sary educational background for our young men and young women to meet this challenge. In addition it will play a major role in providing for our community's social, civic, recreational and cultural needs. Our tax dollar serves a double purpose when the new school building serves both our pupils and our community. The Schools belong to and are a direct responsibility of the people. A communitys schools will only be as good as the people want them to be. You have provided as good a school as any. and better than most communities in the State. You are to be congratulated. Fay H. ,:.... --A WEEDSPORT Cl NTRAL SCHOOL Next fall for the first time in seven or eight years all of the school children of the district will actually be in school The completion of the new junior-Senior High School build- ing will mean as much to the elementary students as it does to the high school. They will at least be in a school of their own. The new facilities will give to the high school students better opportunities than have ever been offered. The larger gymnasium shops and library as well as the auditorium will permit a much better program. The first year in the reorganized schools will without doubt present many problems and difficulties. These can be worked out however if everyone students faculty and all other person- nel work together for the best interests of all. W. F. Lampman Principal -FW-1
