The second game the first league game saw Weedsport outfight outsmart and out- score a really rugged Cato six by the score of 19 to 6. Port Byron next fell victim to Weedsport s fast improving squad. The heavier visitors were outcharged and outplayed as the score 44 to Zl testifies. The following two weeks saw Weedsport first defeat Moravia 38 to l2 and then drop a heartbreaking 26 to l4 decision to Red Creek. Chagrined by their loss the week before and covetous of the County Championship which hung in the balance the green clad legions of Weedsport proceeded to push the vis- iting Union Springs team all over the field and win going away 42 to 6.
