Webutuck Represents . . . A TRADITION . . . A Keeping Of Things Of The Past Shall Enable You To Be A Judge Of The Future.' Thomas Jefferson A Happening . . . Far off it appears like a single star among the heavens. Not easily recognized from the myriad of events and occurences, Closer and closer, its heat engulfs you like fire, Your pulse quickens and a tinge of excitement hits you. Your team is winning, you scream until your lungs ache, Hysteria and pandemonium break loose, People descend like lemmings. Far off it appears like a single star among the heavens Not easily recognized from the myriad of events and occurences . . . Seen the happiness and tragedy a single year can carry. But it all seemed bearable with you at my side, A solitary shoulder to cry on, A person to laugh with, A companion to share my loves and hates with, But most of all my friend, of greater importance to me is the lone fact that you were there. — There are places I remember all my life. Though some have changed, some forever, not for better, some have gone, . And some remain. A Remembrance . . . All these places had their moments, with lovers and friends I still can recall, Some are dead and some are living, In my life, I've loved them all. But of all theses friends and lovers, there is no one who compares with you, and these memories lose their meaning, When I think of love as something new. Tho' I know I'll never lose affection, for people and things that went before, I know I'll often stop and think about them, In my life. I'll love you more. Tho’ I know I'll never lose affection, for people and things that went before, I know I'll often stop and think about them, In my life. I'll love you more, In my life, I'll love you more. Lennon McCartney People . Each face that flashes back to mind Seems as it was untouched by time I can't recall quite all the names Each one is precious all the same How strange to think Where are they now How many friends were lost somewhere behind Like so many crazy dancers Where are they now We live only for the answers in a song How 1 miss those companions But that was long ago who walked the canyons of the night Where are they now By my side Richard Kerr A Beginning Dreams- so they say Are for the fools and they let them drift away Peace- like the silent dove Should be flying but it's only just begun Like Columbus in the olden days We must gather all our courage Sail our ship out on the open sea Cast away our fears and all the year will come and go And take us up- always up James Seals But wc still have time Time to try Yes we still have time Before the chance But Not Passes by We've got to take it And maybe stumble and fall but we still have time to have it all Bruce Sussman Jack Feldman An End The Class Of 1982 Presents Webtide Eighty-Two Publisher: Josten's American Yearbook Company Photography: Arax Studios Advisor: Richard Ernst Staff Tammy Barney Debbie Walters Lauren Maloney Paul Mahoney Peter Thrapp Diane Mann Coreen Cahill Teresa Cookingham Karen Stanton Maureen Bradley Gene Brooks Suzy Kappel Nancy Lawrence Linda LaCurto Debbie Hopkins SENIORS Terri Anne Ackerman Oma Charles Adrian Psychotic Lidia R.
