YV' S qhrfor a balanced band In harch the band elected the follovlng officers president, Robert Busdecker, vice president, Charlotte Duni pace, secretary treasurer, Grace Canfleld The members also elected a COlH1ttCC to whom wlll be referred problems confronting the band The commlttee mem bers are Delmar Lahman Cchairmanl, Ruth Burslck, Donna Belle Hebler, Warren krukemyer, and Wilson Lahman Although the band has been somewhat lnconvenicnced by inadequat practice COUdltlOHS, it is Justly proud of the splendid beglnnlng lt ha made Next year lt should make still greater lmprovmuent wlth the new buildlng to supply plenty of pace for band practlce Only two publlc appear nces were made hls year The group played before the JuU1OP and Senior Class Plays GIRLS' GLT CLUB On September 28, 1956 the Glrls' Glee Club was or ganlzed, and the new offweers elected at thls meetlng were presldent, Dorothy Metzger, secretary, Ruth BUPS1GP, treas urer, Leona Schmidt, librarlan, hildred Wlght, and accompan lst, Charlotte Dunipace The Glee Club lS very proud of lts membershlp of twenty five, whlch in additlon to the high school includes girls from the seventh and elghth grades At Christmas the girls presented a chapel program besldes slnging throughout the year at dlfferent affairs, such as nlght school, the Jun1OP Play, W C T U Institute and the Amateur Hour at Luckey The Senlor High School girls partlclpated ln the Wood County Music Festival lH Bowling Green BOYS' GLEV CLUB A Boys' Glee Club was organized thls year It has been rather difflcult to keep a uniform group as baseball a d basketball lnterfered wlth practice The officers of the organization are as follows presldent, Robert Busdeker, vice president, George Witte, secretary treasurer, Norman Jimisen, librarlan, Irvlne McCann, and Mildred Wight, accompanist.
