-- --- -- V V THE VALENTINE DANCE On February 12, 1965, Webster School was the scene of the annual Valentine Dance and coronation. The theme was Queen of Hearts . The stage and auditorium were attractively dec- orated in an Alice in Wonderland scene. The arch which the Royal Court passed under was similarly decorated. Jan Thompson was crowned queen by Judy James, last year's queen. who also presented the staff of office to King Don Gayton. Kathy Allen was the crown bearer. Members of the court were: Sue Bradbury, Pam Buchanan, Patti Daunis, Kim Gould, Betsy Greene, Sue James, Chuck Blatt, John Collins, Dave Eretzian, Robie Leavitt, Bruce Mortimer, and Mark Woodward. The following students were members of the decorating committee: Nelda Tolman, Melanie Haskell, Bill Hunter, Bruce Mortimer, Donna Mongeau, Sue James, and Betsy Greene. Faculty advisors were Mrs. Dyke, Mr. Andre- ozzi, Mr. Meldrum, Miss Wright, Mrs. Lapointe, Mrs. Galle, Miss Filliettaz, and Mr. Lapham. The chaperones included Principal and Mrs. Jordan, Mr. and Mrs. Dyke, Lt. and Mrs. Galle and Mr. Meldrum. Music was provided by the Lloyd Rafnell or- chestra. Page Twenty-six
