Paula Connor, Nancy Hayes, Patti Marcus, Paula Bemis, Diane Bunker, Harriet Lewis, Marcia Cole, STUDENT Early in the school year the Webster Junior High School Student Council held a school-wide election to choose officers. Judy James was elected President, Alison Pratt, Vice-President, John Bennett, Treasurerp and Margie lsaacson, Secretary. Such activities as a Canned Goods Drive for the benefit of an Auburn family whose home was demol- ishe-d by fire, a Scoop Sheet to keep Webster stu- dents informed in regard to school events of interest, with Marcia Cole and Carol Longtin serving as co-edi- tors, and the spring campaign to help clean up and keep litter off the school grounds were put into effect. COUNCIL Martha Whitten, Gail Knowles, Janet Dulac, Donna Mon- geau Third Row: William Brock, Carol Longlin, Sue Silfen, Ronald Lebel, Ronald Hull, David Whiting, Michael Raymond, Gor- don Harvey, Michael Cohen, Charles Blatt COUNCIL On February 14, a Valentine Dance was held for the student body and guests. As a money-raisinig proiect, the Council held a well attended Record Ho-p. Proceeds from the Council activities were used to beautify the appearance of the front grounds of our school in the form of a new fence, new grass and shrubbery. We would like to express our appreciation to Mr. Ingersoll, our adviser, and to all who cooperated to make our proiects successful. 32

Sue Rowbotham THE DRAMATIC CLUB The members of the Dramatic Club had the op- portunity to try out for various parts in plays and to produce some plays under the direction of Mrs. Whit- ten and Miss Campbell, Besides this, there were in- Brown and Judy Agnew did the make-up, Janet Biron on stage. Members worked hard in order to become elig- ible for a part in the Dramatic Club's annual assem- bly program, held this year on May' 6, 1964. The plays chosen were A Ghostly Picnic and lt Boys Wore the Skirts. Sandra struction in pantomine and in the proper use of voice and Sharon Chicoine took care of the properties., and Arlene Bellmore and Cheryl Naum were responsible For costumes.
