ASSEMBLIES Another year of interesting assembly programs was enioyed. In the 'Fall Mr. Emory Barnes and Mr. Chet Mitchell entertained us. Mr. Barnes was an excellent dramatic humcrist. Mr. Mitchell was a ver- satile pianist ancl singer. At Thanksgiving a special program was pree sented which featured band and choral numbers. The Rev. Mark Rohrbaugh at Auburn gave an appropri- ate address. Other programs highlighted Mme Suzanne Sile vercruys, an artist in the use of ceramics, Supreme Court Justice Donald Webber, an interesting assem- bly speaker, and Mr. Dale Murphy, a demonstrator of the 'Marvels of Chemistry. There were also pro- grams teaturing skits by the Dramatic Club, award presentations, various movies, and a lecture on the subject of Civil Defense. Again this year a talent show climaxed the as- sembly schedule.
