THE CAMERA CLUB The Camera Club was organized in 'I96'I under the guidance of Mr. Norris Ingersoll. Its main pur- poses are to provide a complete knowledge of the camera and its uses as well as to promote the schooI's interest in social events and charitable deeds. The Camera Club has given aid to a number of organiza- tions, donated a food basket to a needy family, and sponsored several social events. Experiments in pho- tography are planned for the future. Treasurer Susan Sawyer U Secretary LIBRARY CLUB The membership of the Library Club was made up of eighth and ninth graders. However, several students from the seventh grade assisted in covering books and in performing other helpful tasks. Committees were formed to check books, make out attendance sheets, check overdue books, and per- form cIean-up duties. Librarians completing fifteen hours of work in the library received patches. The council has sponsored two school dances. One dance followed the Webster-Walton annual 'Foot- ball game, the other was held as a Christmas record- hop. Three Major projects were undertaken during the course of the year. The general objective of one of these projects was to enhance the beauty of the school grounds, This was done by planting new grass, shrubbery, and small trees on the area at the front ot the building. Another project was to provide Webster with a handbook for incoming students. The handbook con- tains a history of the school, courses, school policies, school song, and school cheers. The final project was a variety show, featuring talented students of Webster, presented as a school assembly program. We would like to take this oppor- tunity to thank all who helped make our projects a success.
