Class Prophecy washington D C December 6, 1976 At one of the recent white House parties put on by our United States President, Marvin Johnson, I came in contact with many of the people who grad uated with me in 1956 President Johnson, who was one of our group to grad uate, irvited to this party fifty of our leading people in thaUn1ted States Many of these were from the 1956 graduating class of the Webster High School President Johnson was guarded by James Pardun, head of Secret Service On the program for the even1ng's entertainment, Sandee Fahlin with the top billing in the Prell Follies owned by one of my old classmates Bud Prell, per formed for us She is also very happily married to a top MGM star John Van son After everyone was settled, the program started Gayle Larrabee, who is a top recording artist sang for us Eileen Bailey, who is a Carnegie Hall pianist, played a few selections fo1 us The program was joined by other en tertalners and was enjoyed by all We all gathered in the dining hall for a wonderful dinner We feasted on thick juicy T Bone steaks supplied by Steve Olson, beef klng of the United who together with her husband own a cattle ranch in Montana Conversation with many of the other graduates found all of them doing fine I talked with Mary Jo who is a great psychologist Don Carlson, brain surgeon at Mayo Clinic, told us that Mavis wierschem is his R N From our 1956 class we have some members working in the white House Among them are Lou Ellen Cockerham, White House Secretary, Dale Halonie, Secretary of Agriculture, Donna Pelton, Housewives Representative to Congress, Patricia Zuelke, the first woman ambassador to Russia, and Carol Davis, Sec retary of Health, Education, and welfare Carol has recently retired from the teaching profession In the science field, we find Maynard Hartshorn as superintendent of a new atomic factory and Ronny Phernetton in charge of the Atomic Proving Grounds at Yucca Flats Ron said Bill Olinger is head test pilot there Bob Phelps, top nuclear physicist of the country, told us he was working hard on his new project and therefore had to leave early There is a new White House going up, the Architect is Larry Peterson, and his top carpenter for the job is Jim Hokanson Marita Maser, Vice president of General Motors, told us Mary Pierce was her head bookkeeper Peter Brennan who is the owner of the now leading Park Central Hotel in New York, and Ronny Pardun who owns a number of exclusive night clubs all over the country were also present Violet Wilson, editor of 'Times , told us she recently saw Pauline Thayer on a tour with her husband who leads an orchestra specializing in Western music V1 also said she published an article of Jean Kleckner's recently It seem Jean is a food economist Another sad departing has arrived With much regret we said goodbye, promising to keep in contact and to have a reunion soon Delores wicklund White House Correspondent 15 States.
