Class Histor As meek little Freshmen, thirty-two of us entered Webster High School, and like most Freshmen, we d1dn't know what was going to happen to us Our advi SOPS, MI' LHPYIHIU, Mrs Fosmo, and Mr O'Brien led us successfully through the first meeting The first class officers elected were as follows President Marlta Maser, Vice President, Don Carlson Secretar Sandee F hli d , , Y, a n, an Treas u?er, Maynard Hartshorn That year we were represented in all fields by many o our 8mbltlOUS classmates We were all happy to have Marita chosen as Carni val Queen and to have Sharon Taylor an attendant at the Homecomlng Festivities The next fall we came, not quite as meek and afraid as the first year, but all glad to be back with our old friends we returned to find that we had lost some of our classmates A few of them were, Bonnie Baxter, George Duvall, John Ailport, Ruth wiemer, Sandy Broeffle, Porter Cockerham, Bob Grover, Connie Lar rabee, Kenneth Leighow, and Sharon Taylor Our class officers that year were President, Marvin Johnson, Vice President, Don Carlson, Treasurer, Lowell In galls, and Secretary, Ronnie Pardun The class advisors were Mr O'Br1en and Mr Pardun Those who represented us in Royalty were Eileen Bailey, who honor ed us by becoming our Carnival Queen, and Carol Davis, our Homecoming candi date There were quite a few active in sports, as well as music and drama Our third year, we entered Webster High portals to find that we had lost a few more of our friends They were, Harry Ailport, Bob Patterson, Helen Green, Mary Lou Corbin, and Arlene Mulroy We gained three girls, Jean Wahlln, Jane Wahlin, and Violet wilson Our class officers were President, Don Carlson, Vice President, Marvin Johnson, Secretary Treasurer, Sandee Fahlin, and Report Mr O'Brien In our Junior year we produced the play, 'Cheaper By The Dozenn, in which many participated Again, our class won the Carnival Queen, and she was Lou Ellen Cockerham In the fall we were very proud to have Delores Wick lund as Homecoming Queen Our Prom was a big success, with the theme f 'Fairyland King Robert Phelps and his Queen, Marita Maser, reigned over the colorful event Looking back over that year we were happy to find it very successful as we were represented in all fields This year we came back very high in spirits because through all these years, we finally got to the top and at last we were 'Almighty Seniors ' We found again that we had lost a few more of our class They were Jean and Jane Wah lln, Lowell Ingalls, Dawne Davis, Ruth Sutton, and Carol Gardner we gained Barbara Tee Our class officers were as follows President, Pat Zuelke, Vice President, Marv Johnson, Secretary Treasurer, Lou Ellen Cockerham, Reporter, Bob Phelps Our SGVISOPS were chosen for us and were Mrs Murray and Mrs. Jexfries. It has been a very busy year with all the activities which were climaxed with graduation in May All of us have en1oyed our high school days w1th all of our classmates, and we wish them all success in whatever field of endeavor they choose to pursue we would like to thank our parents and teachers who have contributed to help us through our four successful years AY Written By Donna Pelton and Mary Jo Van Canneyt 7 er, Marita Maser.
