SENIOR CLASS HISTORY In September 1950 smxty eager boys and g1r1s entered the b1g bu1ld1ng of Webster H1gh School W1th the help of our class adv1sor Mrs Jeffr1es and our class off1cers Presmdent Gordon Gardner V1ce Pres1dent Sue Lessard Secretary Carol McKenna and Treasurer Dorothy Ovre we went through the year w1th a lot of confus1on and happmess We rece1ved a b1g welcome from the Sophomores who 1n1t1ated us Some of the act1v1t1es we part1c1pated 1n were chorus band sports baton tw1r11ng all school play and forens1cs In September 1951 we came back as Sophomores w1th a class of forty three members It was to our d1sappo1ntment that we d1d not get to 1n1t1ate our fellow Fresh men as that year It was dec1ded that 1n1t1at1on would cease Our contr1but1on to sports was outstand1ng th1s year Those tak1ng part were Danny Arendt J1m Engebretson Marvln Ermckson Jerry Pardun and Frank Lord Our offmcers th1s year were Pres1dent Frank Lord V1ce Pres1dent Jerry Pardun Secretary Betty Roskos and Treasurer Carol McKenna Our ad v1sors were Mrs Murray and Mr Pardun Now onward to our Jun1or year as upper classmen In 1952 we aga1n returned to Webster I-hgh School w1th an enrollment of th1rty s1x Junlors We the Jun1ors sponsored the prom w1th Danny Arendt and Bonn1e Prell re1gn1ng as Kmg and Queen We put on aplay ent1tled 'Rest Assured wh1ch turned out to be a b1g suc cess Our off1cers th1s year were Pres1dent Frank Lord V1ce Pres1dent Tom Newcomb Secretary Bonn1e Prell and Treasurer Marg1e Johnson Our ad v1sors were M1ss Schrrudt Mrs Murray and Mr Rogness At last 1n 1953 we returned as the A1m1ghty Sen1ors' Th1s year we lost from our enrollment V1rg1n1a Schoonover and Agnes Sauerbrey We also lost Frank Lord and .hm Engebretson who Jomed the Marmes and whom we m1ssed greatly 1n sports Thxs year we had the honor of havmg two members of our class re1gn over the Homecommg fest1v1t1es Mary Petersen was Queen and M1ckey Sears was K1ng Our class off1cers th1s year were Pres1dent Mxckey Sears V1ce Pres1 dent Jerry Pardun Secretary Evlyn Phelps and Treasurer Almce Makela Our adv1sors were Mr Rogness Mr Balko and Mr Moselle Graduat1on N1ght for wh1ch we have all been wa1tmg became a real1zat1on 1n May We would l1ke to thank everyone who has helped to make these four years a b1g success As our paths wend 1n many dxfferent d1rect1ons we'l1 always remember our four years together 1n h1gh school Sponsored by HEDBERG S CORNER STORE and BLACK 8: ORANGE CAFE 5 1 . 1 ' 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 Q 1 2 . . . . . . . . . - 1 1 1 1 ' I ' 1 1 . , . . 2 1 1 1 1 1 . . . . . . . - 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 ' ' I . . . -- - .
