The Circle J-S Ranch, against a background of Western mural scenes, served as the setting for the annual Junior-Senior Ban- quet and Prom held on the evening of May fifth in the high school auditorium. A bunk house stood at one end through which the waitresses and waiters, dressed in cowboy style, entered. A chow wagon, bean hole, potted cactus and sparkling stars hanging from the ceiling gave the picture a real out-of-doors atmosphere. Tables for four were placed around the edge of the corral, lanterns and candles furnishing the only lighting. Mike Gibbs and his orchestra played for the dance. Featured on the dance program was one dance dedicated to the junior mothers. Miss Clara Chilson acted as toast-mistress, introducing welcome by Frank Mohs, Junior Class President, response President, vocal selections by a trio, the Virginia Reel accompanied on the accordian by Franklin Schmidt.
