gl 7 TraCY iw ' Senior Personality, Tracy Tarpley by Lyra Hall Whether sheis planning activities for the student body or helping a friend with a prob- lem, senior Tracy Tarpley has made time for everyone and everything during her four years of high school. Tracy admires the car- ing of the faculty and the enthusiasm they have expressed to make a better working rela- tionship with the student body. Not only has the faculty of Webster Groves High School made an impact on Tracy's life, but also her caring parents have given her the guidance and constant support that she needed the most. During Tracy's high school years, she has been active in a wide range of extra curricular activities. For four years, Tracy has been on the SSC, SLB, J.V. and Varsity Cheerlead- ing. She has also participated in SADD chap- ter, Varsity Club, 1987 Leadership Commit- tee of Forty, and the Debate team. 26 Tracy is very optimistic about her future and plans to attend the University of Missou- ri-Columbia for her basic academic require- ments and then transfer to Northwestern to pursue her career as a Broadcast Journalist. However, now that Tracy is a senior and has become acutely aware of her interests, she wishes she could have developed her field of interest earlier and in a more in depth way. As Tracy looks on to the future, she hopes to have develop her broadcasting career, and to be successful and heavily involved with a major television network. But as Tracy leaves the doors of W.G.H.S. for the last time she will remember the spirit- ed class of ,88. This special group of friends have helped Tracy achieve her class goals to make each year a memorable experience. But more importantly Webster Groves High School will never forget'Tracy. '
