Senior Personalityf, Sarah Gauger by Lyra Hall 1-2-3-4-5, Sarah Gauger don't take no jive, 6-7-8-9-10, back it up let's do it againf' These words describe the side of senior, Sarah Gauger, that many of us don,t know. Sarah is very serious about her future and isnit going to let anyone or anything inter- Sarah G i fere. Without a doubt, her brother Paul has influ- enced her attitude about her future goals greatly. As Sarah sees Paul diligently working towards his dream in medicine, she sees the motivation and confidence, which was achieved through their loving parents. Sarah hopes that someday she will be as good a par- ent as they are, and that she can give her kids the love and understanding that her parents share. Sarah hopes to gain experience in service, by helping the school and community as much as she can. Sarah has been active in various ac- tivities, such as SSC, Cheerleading, Medical Explorers, Young Life and her Church Youth Group for four years, SADD and W.G. Com- munity Youth Council for two years, and Prom committee and Friendship Dance com- mittee for one year. With Sarah's organizational skills, she is able to balance her difficult academic sched- ule, outside jobs, school activities and clubs, and her social life. More importantly, Sarah doesn't let this get in the way of her family. In addition to her family, Sarah greatly ad- mires the faculty at W.G.H.S. such as Frau Huggy Haase for her vitality and love for life, Mr. Horak as a confidant, and Ms. Voss for her organizational skills. Each and every one of these people have helped Sarah to make deci- sions which otherwise would have been hard to make on her own. After high school, Sarah plans to spend the next four to eight years at a good college where she can practice in her many fields of interest. Sarah intends to pursue the medical field, in which she will study nursing, biology, or hospi- tal administration. In years to come, Sarah sees a bright and successful future ahead, and she will do, the best possible job she can. In addition to a successful career, a happy family life is impor- tant to her. She hopes to gfcombine the twof' Leaving W.G.H.S., Sarah wants to remem- ber the good times. She will never forget the support of faculty and friends, and she wouldn't change a thing about her high school years.
