R . WE SAL TE... To you, tl1e former students of Webster High School in the armed service of our country, we, the Class of Nineteen Forty-Three, dedicate with pride our year- book. Inadequate though this gesture of appreciation is, it is with sincerity that we salute you. In days gone by we may have often heedlessly passed our country's flag floating before our school. Today this emblem has for us a deeper meaning due to the sacrifices which you are so gladly making to preserve the way of life which it symbolizes. It may not be given to all of us to join you who fight in arid deserts, through pathless jungles, or on distant seas. However, in spirit we are with you as we do our part in the home forces. And when the guns cease firing, may we together strive to see that the cause for which this war was fought is not betrayed, that with peace there will come. lasting freedom for the people of the world-freedom of speech, freedom of worship, freedom from want, and freedom from fear. x.XxX K HON eg Clarence Adams Harold Allen John Alquist Ruth Alquist Donald Austin Richard Backus Elinor Bailey .Iames Baker Robert Baker Michael Bellomo Phili Bellomo Charijes Bender Mary Benedict Lawrence Bennett Urban Bieck Gerald Bliek Gordon Bowman Harry Brewer David Brotsch Daniel Brusso Frank Brusso Edward Burke Robert Burke William Burke Jane Burkhardt John Burkhardt Rudolph Burkhardt Kenneth Busch Gerald B nes Norman Ri-yrnes John Cam bell Norman Clhase Raymond Cichanowicz Theodore Cichanowicz Milford Close Harold Colby Thomas Collister James Connor Allen Conrow Raymond Conrow Leo Corrigan Ralph Crane Russell Crippen John Cushman Thomas Davis Leonard DeGraaf George DePape George DeMers Edward DeMuth Martin DeMuth Richard Ehrne William Elliott Priscilla Famous Kenneth Fehr Ralph Fernaays Calvin Fisher Clifford Fisk Samuel Foster Herbert Furber Charles Fyles Mason Gaffney Matthew Gaffney Edward Gangross John Gay Robert Gerlach Anthony Giordano Frederick Griffiths Edwin Hagedorn James Hall Gerald Hamel Betty Hammond Harold Handyside Robert Hansen Robert Hargarther Charles Hartung William Hartung Edward Hasman George Hawley Edwin Hayden Francis Heald Warren Heard George Heaven James Hendee Alan Hermance Wilbur Hermance Eldon Hilfiker Elmer Hilfiker Roland Hilfiker Robert Hoffman Florence Hosenfeld Elmer Huehn Donald Hum hrey Edgar Humplirey William Humphrey Robert Hutteman Chester Janiszewsk Edward J antschi Robert Johanson Robert Judd Edward Kaminski Stanley Kaminski Edward Kimmel Edward King Frank King Donald Klauss Kenneth Klauss Emil Klaver Edmund Kleislcy i Philip Klem Richard Klem Harold Klick Harold Koester Richard Kubber Harold Kuhn Lee Kuhnmuneh Arthur Lagendyke Robert lreenhouts Robert Lefler .lames Lieberman Jane Lieberman VVarren Lloyd Jack Lotze Oscar Madison Raymond Martin Gerald Mattys Donald McClellan Russell McClellan Gerald McGuire George Meddaugh Robert Miller Kenneth Minion George Mintz Robert Montgomery Donald Monacell VVarren Neeley Clarence Nyboer Bruce O'Dell Richard O'Dell 'Verner Ogi Robert Olson Walter Olson Raymond Osborne Raymond Owen Theodore Paris Paul Pellett Dona-ld Pinkney Donald Quinn Stephen Rapport Weldon Read Claire Rigby James Rume John Salter Frederick Sehaer Charles Scharch Everett Schieven John Schlegel Robert Schmeer Frederick Schmidt Anthony Schreiber Robert Seaver Clarence Seavert Anna Smith 'Killed in Action. rf, - N I ', x x -so e f xr J ' J . , 05... -. Both need wholesome, nutritious foods if they are to do their best, and keep lit and healthful. Our Home Service Department has worked out effective plans for maintaining lunches at maximum nutritional standards, while keeping them within the limits of war time budgets.
