SCIENCE CLUB The Science Club was iust or- ganized this year under the direction of Mr. Marble and Mr. Green, Five boosters of the club drew up the constitution and helped organize it. The nature of the club is both physe ical and biological science, They are: John Stoddard, Scot Ander- son, Mary Kleuiord, Bruce Her- rik, Ronnie Hogdson SKATING CLUB The Skating Club was o new- ly organized club this year. Every Wednesday the club went skating at the colliseurn. They also had skating parties. I, CAP THE Civil Air Patrol at Weber High has been very successful this year. The many varied activities of the CAP provide educational entertainment plus invaluable train- ing for every member. Commanding Officer: Larry Miller DE DISTRIBUNVE Education pro- vides means for members to secure more information regarding their particular lines of interest. lt also provides activities which will aid the members to develop self-confi- dence in the performance of their iobs. The field of retailing itself offers a variety of fascinating and profitable careers. In retailing there is not only interest in human asso- ciation, but opportunities for o wide variety of talents, which useid wisely, provide endless opportunity for growth. Officers: President, Dan Danielson, Vice President, Carol Paulsen, Sec- retary and Treasurer, Jackie Nelsong Editor of Promotions, Bobby Way ment. PTA TO promote the good parent- teacher relations and to smooth out some of Weber High's administra- tive difficulties were two of the main goals of our PTA this year. Orators were L. to R. Bob Wood, Kay Gould, and Ann Probasco. Roger Anderson, Brent Satterthwaite, Steve Van Dyke, and Frank Smith. DEBATE, oratory, extern- poraneous speaking, and legislature comprised the ac- tivities of the Speech II Class. Under the direction of Mr. C. S. Graves, this class won many honors at the Weber College Invitational Speech Meet, and the Region and State Forensic Meet.
