ILLS The feminine half of the student body sponsored a varied list of activities under the direction of the officers, Ilene, Lou Jean, and Rita, the advisor, lvirs, Crezee, and the Council. October 29 found the girls arrayed in cos- tumes ranging from humorous masks to something that should be on Inner Sanctum at the Halloween Party. ln November they danced to the tune of Autumn Serenade at the Girls' Dance, In April they blossomed out in print dresses and in May hobbled through the halls in heels and hose, praying for arch supporters or crutches. 66 Our Seminary building neath a blanket of snow. NEXT DOOR AT This year five hundred Seminary students plowed their way through leaves, snow, ice, rain, and mud to the newly repaired Seminary building, where they studied Bible History-Old and New Testaments-and Church His- tory. Under the direction of Principal Bartley Heiner, and teachers, Miss Chadwick and Mr. Gunnell, they sang songs, held short worship services, studied, listened to special recordings, drew maps, kept journals, and got their Seminary pins. Mr, Floyed Eyre, former principal of the Seminary, is on a leave of absence from his teaching duties at Vifeber. He is the president of the L. D. S. Canadian Mission in Toronto, Canada. His wife and daughter accompanied him on his mission. Mr. Eyre had been principal of Weber's Seminary for nineteen years and plans to return when his mission is completed.
