Marjorie Bailey LaRene Thompson Marion Fiet BOYS' ASSOCIATION A wide awake energetic organization, GIRLS' ASSOCIATION The Girls' Association this year under the leadership of Miss Littlefield, Miss Well- ing, and Miss Stallings rose to new heights in sponsoring school activities. Some of the accomplishments of the G. A. were: The Annual Girls' Dance, Print Dress Week, and three parties. A swimming party was conducted at the Weber College Gymnasium by President Mar- gie Bailey. A hiking party was also held at the mouth of Taylor's canyon. In an assem- bly the girls' version of an ideal boy was ex- pressed. The officers were: President Margie Bail- ey, Vice President La Rene Thompson, Sec- retary Marian Fiet, Sr. Rep. Wreatha Bing- ham, Jr. Rep. Marguerite Maw, Soph. Rep. Pauline Black, 9th grade Rep. Maurine Carr, and Sth, Helen Tucker. THE GOLDEN SPIKE that was the aim of the Boys' Association for this year, an aim that has been creditably ac- complished. The party at the Weber Gym was a tre- mendous success. Our assemblies were favor- ably received, and the better school cam- paign carried on by means of the Knight Er- rantry materially aided in the personality de- velopment and character building of all the students. We have strived to assist in all school activi- ties in every possible way and in conclusion wish to thank all those who have helped to make our year a successful one. Officers: Pres. This active bodv of representative students has worked faithfully to plan the activities which have made this school year .1 happy and interesting one, and the problems which have confronted the council. found a group well equipped to work them out and bring forth intelligent solutions.
